The Ruger 22/45 Pistol is a great little 22LR, but mine had an ejection problem. It would fail to eject about every 3rd or 4th round. I tried high velocity ammo and it worked better than standard ammo, but it was still driving me nuts.
Fortunately I found a cure for the problem by replacing the factory recoil rod and spring with a Volquartsen Recoil Rod & Spring Kit VC3RS. Now it works perfectly with all kinds of ammo. Below is a short video because we all know a picture is worth a thousand words.
