The Polaris Ranger 570 Midsize upgrades continue. The latest projects are adding a winch and mudguards. The winch installation had its share of problems so we had to back up and punt. We started the installation with a Tractor Supply winch and ended up installing a Champion 4000 winch. If you are installing a winch on your Polaris Ranger, you might want to watch the video below so you won’t have the same problems I had.
The second project was to install mudguards in front of the rear wheels to protect the area under the seat from the mud. After looking at a couple of options, we were able to add the mudguards for less than $10.

Ranger 570 DYI Mud Guards $10
The Polaris Ranger 570 Base is a utility style utility vehicle with an MSRP of $10,199. Power is provided by a 4-Stroke, 567cc, Liquid-cooled, DOHC, Single-Cylinder engine with Electric starter. The engine is paired with The Ranger 570 Base rides on Steel wheels with Carlisle: 25 x 8-12; 489 front tires and a Carlisle: 25 x 10-12; 489 rear tires. The front suspension is a McPherson Strut while the rear suspension is an Independent Double A-Arm. Front Hydraulic Disc brakes and rear Hydraulic Disc brakes provide stopping power. The Ranger 570 Base comes standard with a Bench, 2-passenger seat.
